The Chrysler 300 was first shown as concept car in the New York Auto Show in  2003. Ralph Gilles was the designer of this car and sales started in 2004 spring. The all-new 300 is built as a high end sedan, however the SRT-8 is being offered as the high performance versions. Limited and Touring versions are equipped with the Pentastar V6 engine and the 5.7 Hemi engine is used in the 300c version. In New York International Auto Show of the year 2011 became the base for the SRT8 version which has been empowered with 6.4 Liter 392 HEMI V-8 Engine. Most of the SRT vehicles under Chrysler Group have got this high end engine. This engine can provide 465 horsepower from which 300 SRT8 can churn up to 60mph within 4 seconds.
